Hehehe, jangan ketipu ama judulnya... It's a just movie I watched yesterday, while i was alone at home .  Judulnya If Only...

I'm not a girl who really fond of romantic movies and easily shed my tears by watching those kind of movies.  The only romantic movie that still be my favorite is Sleepless in Seattle.    

If Only, this movie really rocks, i mean it was so sweet that a guy would want to relive the day again just to save his true love... and would love her today like there was no tomorrow... He started to share anything about his life, which never been shared before.. His childhood, his family.. He even asked her to have a ride in London Eye, though he knew his girl friend's affraid of heights.. When it reached the highest point, she forgot her phobia and realize how beautiful the city scene from the top of the Eye..and she knew, that she'll be save with him...  He also brought her a bracelet, with old and new charms with it.  One of the charm is heart, his heart...  and she hold his heart in her hand... so touchy...

Watching this movie, made me wiped away my tears... huehuehue...

Begitu judul yang saya baca di sampul CD-nya. Siapa yang tau Diane Warren or at lease familiar with this name? Mungkin nama ini asing di telinga kita. Tapi kalau kita sebut lagu-lagu yang ngetop jaman taun '80 or '90 -an, nah.. kemungkinan besar lagu itu adalah ciptaannya. Kebetulan, saya termasuk orang yang suka mengamati text lagu di kaset or CD yang saya beli. Sehingga saya sedikit2 tau lah, apa itu lagu2 ciptaan penyanyinya sendiri atau diciptain oleh orang lain, spt Diane Warren ini. So, when i read an article about Diane Warren dan CD kompilasi lagu2 hasil karyanya yang bakal keluar, saya pengen buru2 pergi ke kota besar or peradaban to purchase the CD and cant hardly wait to play and listen to it. Terbayang lagu2 favorit jaman saya SMA & kuliah dulu. Saya juga teringat film Up Close & Personal yang saya tonton waktu ultah pacar pertama saya. Tentu saja saya nontonnya berdua, masa sendiri! =)) Salah satu OST film tsb (Because You Loved Me - Celine Dion) merupakan ciptaan mbak Diane Warren. Saya suka sekali lagu tsb... karena liriknya memang indah, plus vokal celine dion yang berkarakter...dan juga terpengaruh suasana hati, dengan siapa saya nonton film yang OST-nya lagu tsb.. ;-)

Saya kutip dari artikel di majalah yang saya baca, kalo Diane Warren merupakan wanita penulis lagu yang paling berpengaruh di dunia dalam 3 dekade terakhir ini. Buat Diane Warren, mencipta lagu adalah suatu pekerjaan yang ia cintai, dimana ia harus mendorong dirinya supaya produktif dan tidak hanya tergantung mood. Tidak heran kalau lagu2 ciptaannya begitu indah, karena lagu2 tsb berasal dari hati.

Ada 18 lagu dalam CD itu, salah satunya dinyanyikan oleh KD. Ya betul! KD or Kris Dayanti. Hebat ya... bisa dapat kesempatan menyanyikan lagu ciptaan Diane Warren. Karena katanya Diane Warren itu pemilih banget... maksudnya si penyanyi harus punya karakter suara yang cocok ama lagunya. Album yang ada KD-nya ini khusus untuk Indonesia, Malaysia, & Brunei.

Suka lagu2 ini: Because You Loved Me, I Turn To You, I Dont Wanna Miss A Thing, How Do I Live, Saving Forever For You...? Beli deh albumnya! Lagu2 itu hanya sebagian dari album yang total berisi 18 lagu.

The Meaning of My Hijab

One day, a friend came to me, and asked:

Why do you have to wear hijab?

Why can’t you be like other girls, who live free and not oppressed?

Why do you have to cover your hair and beautiful body?

You now live in the West, the land of free

 

I then smiled and answered:

Call me crazy but this hijab reflects my pride and dignity 

My hijab is a symbol of my faith

It is a symbol of my chastity and modesty

A symbol of righteousness and piety

It protects my heart from uncertainty
